Beavers Putting Mud on their Lodge shows the way beavers carry mud, often mixed with small roots or branches, to put on their lodge.
Over the many hours and days that I have had gamecams focused on beaver lodges this type of behavior has only been recorded during the hours of darkness.
Holded the glob of mud and debris with their front legs and walking upright is fascinating to watch. At one lodge two beavers did this constantly all night without taking an obvious break.
