- Male Stickleback Defends its Nest shows an anadromous Three-spine Stickleback defending its nest from a Staghorn Sculpin.
- This video was taken in an intertidal slough in Juneau, Alaska on July 7, 2018.
- The stickleback was fanning the nest to provide circulation to the incubating eggs when this sculpin arrived.
- It is interesting to see such a tiny fish attack the very large sculpin and eventually drive it away.
- Of interest is the sculpin tried to eat the stickleback at least two times but he escaped.
